Clippers Sign Jordan Farmar and Spencer Hawes

It looks like the Los Angeles Clippers are going to replace Darren Collison with former Laker Jordan Farmar. Famar and the Clippers reportedly agreed on a two-year deal worth $4.2 million.

The two-year deal will include a player option in the second year per ESPN. The Clippers used their biannual exception for the deal after Collison agreed earlier in the week to a three-year deal with the Sacramento Kings for $16 million.

Last season Farmar average 10.1 points, 4.9 assist, and 2.5 rebounds per game for the Lakers after playing the previous season overseas in Turkey.

Along with Farmar the Clippers also added center Spencer Hawes. The 26-year-old center signed a four-year, $23 million deal with the Clippers that will take up the teams mid-level exception unless a sign-and-trade deal is worked out with the Cleveland Cavaliers prior to July 10.
