Chicago Bears Sign Safety Ryan Mundy

Ryan Mundy

The Chicago Bears have reached a two-year deal with former Giants and Steelers safety Ryan Mundy.

Mundy, 29, was able to rack up 77 tackles in 16 games for the Giants in 2013. Mundy was able to start the first seven games for the Giants at free safety, until Will Hill came back.

Mundy decided to move on from the Giants, to look for a better chance at a starting role, and he should have that with the Bears, who were lacking in that category last season.
